Background

I have worked in a childcare setting for almost 11 years, all the way from a closer to now a part of the administration team. I joined the Daycare Ministries of River City Church five years ago. I have an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Development Credential, as well as almost completed my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Administration and Masters in Human Services.

Teaching Style

 My teaching style is very hands on. I want them to be able to experience everything that we are teaching and look for ways to do just that all the time. I also strongly believe in positive reinforcement and moving on from the situation instead of dwelling on it. Play based learning is my absolute favorite and watching them experience those real-life moments brings me complete joy!

Hobbies I really enjoy reading, hiking, spending time with my husband and daughter, spending time with friends, crafting, and anything to do with being outside in nature. We are a big sports family so we spend a lot of our weekends at the ball fields!
