My Background I graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with the intent to teach K-6 grade. However, after accepting my first teaching position in the Two’s/Toddler room at a Montessori school in Kokomo, IN, I realized early education is where she's meant to be. My experience spans across several areas of Early Childhood Education. Ispent time as a Montessori Teacher, Early Head Start Teacher, Paths to Quality Advancement Coach, Education Supervisor for Head Start classrooms, and Preschool Director. I have helped many Early Childhood Education programs implement program-wide quality improvements. Hobbies Family is everything! She has a son with w PhD in Biochemistry who works for St. Jude and a daughter with her Master's degree in Orthodontics and works as an orthodontist in New York City. She enjoys traveling with her children, gardening, and playing with her dog. How would you descrie your teaching philosophy? Children learn best when they have a positive relationship with the adults who are teaching and caring for them. I believe unconditional acceptance of all children and modeling Christ’s love is the foundation to building those positive relationships with children. Favorite Scripture

‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’
